Para la Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de Cusco (DDCC), las largas colas registradas a inicios de año para llegar a Machu Picchu, que generaron malestar entre los turistas, son cosa del pasado. Según dijo, a dos semanas de haberse implementado los nuevos horarios de ingreso a la ciudadela inca, los visitantes han saludado la medida.
“A 16 días de vigencia de las modificaciones al reglamento de uso sostenible y visita turística para la conservación de la Llaqta Inka de Machu Picchu y la venta diferenciada de boletos de ingreso por horas, hemos recibido diversas comunicaciones de turistas nacionales y extranjeros felicitando la implementación de este modelo de gestión”, señaló la DDCC.
En un comunicado, la entidad cultural citó comentarios de los visitantes: “Ahora es ordenada la venta de boletos para el transporte hacia Machu Picchu, pero además el ingreso es más cómodo, no hay necesidad de hacer largas colas innecesariamente”, manifestaron algunos turistas, particularmente de nacionalidades: chilena, española, ecuatoriana y boliviana.
Por su parte, el alcalde del distrito de Machu Picchu, Darwin Baca León, refirió: “Como autoridad edil, saludo la iniciativa de los sectores involucrados, como la Dirección de Cultura de Cusco, Consettur, PeruRail. Inca Rail, para dar solución o aliviar la problemática que a diario afronta el turista; sin embargo, esta nueva modalidad de ingreso por horas a Machu Picchu permite otorgar facilidades para la visita de los turistas, evitando las largas colas para el bus y para el acceso a la ciudadela inca”.
“La venta diferencia de boletos por horas para ingresar al santuario de Machu Picchu, a partir de las 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 y 14 horas, tiene la finalidad de no sobrepasar en ningún momento el límite de visitantes que deben ingresar a la ciudadela inca”, reitero el jefe del Parque Arqueológico Nacional de Machu Picchu.
